I/we understand that I/we are purchasing a subscription share(s) [Full, Half, Milk] from Renaissance Farms CSA

I/We understand that to complete the subscription process I/we will need to fill in all requested information on the Agreement Form and submit it with payment. Checks are payable to Renaissance Farms CSA. (credit card payments are also accepted).

I/We may not cancel the subscription after the 1st day of April 2009. If I am no longer willing or able to participate in CSA, I am responsible for re-selling my share. I/we further understand that the farm must be notified of any such sale.

I/We understand that the share will be comprised of vegetables, fruits, cut flowers or other products produced on or provided by Renaissance Farms. Milkshares consist of raw milk from my choice of pastured Oberhasli goat or Dexter cow.

I/We understand that my share also me to organic and natural grocery items at wholesale prices and that these products will be available for me to choose from in the farm shop on the day of my pick-up.

I/We will volunteer 4 hours (full share) or 2 hours (half-share) of my time to Renaissance Farms CSA per month, for activities (to be arranged) during the year. Milk share holders are not required to participate in farm chores.

I/We understand that the farm will endeavor to provide clear notice of both character and origin (organic, natural, locus, etc.) of all products included in the share.

I/We understand that crop and farm product availability is subject to weather conditions, pest invasions, unforeseen natural occurrences, and Acts of God, beyond the control of the Farm.

I/We accept that this means that certain farm products may be limited or unavailable in any given season.

I/We understand that shares will be available for pick up on the day agreed between me and the farm, and that, the share may be forfeited if notice of change has not been received on the farm two days prior to scheduled pick up.

I/We understand that if, for any reason, I am unable to pick up my share on my assigned day, I may designate someone else to pick up my share by giving at least 48 hours notice to the farm.

I/We understand that Renaissance Farms CSA Shares operate under a points-based, free-choice model for 12 full months beginning in April 2009 and expiring in March 2010. Available products, along with their point value will be posted weekly at the farm. We may choose to leave any, or all, of our share, which will then be disposed of in a manner to be determined by the distribution coordinator. We strive to donate unused produce to local homeless shelters and food banks whenever possible.

I/We understand that when on farm, I/we will observe all regulations as to cleanliness, noise, language, pets, and general conduct as posted on the farm, and that I will check in and out on the day I am scheduled for farm chores.

I/We will raise any concerns or issues we may have with the CSA routinely, constructively, and in a timely manner to aid Renaissance Farms CSA in achieving excellence in serving our spiritual, nutritional, wellness, and gastronomic needs.
